Keibert Ruiz and the Washington Nationals agreed to an 8-year extension worth $50 million, and everyone should be happy. Keibert Ruiz is considered to be a stout defensive catcher at this point, and that alone is a huge deal considering where we are at with this rebuild. Young pitchers need to feel comfortable behind the plate, and Ryan explains just why Ruiz is the perfect fit for it.
