Could LSU DC Matt House be retained?!? | Brian Kelly addresses next steps for Tigers coaching staff

LSU head football coach Brian Kelly addressed the media this week to address team obligations during finals week, when they plan to hit the practice field for bowl practice in preparation to take on the Wisconsin Badgers on New Years Day, and the coaching staff's main priority of hitting the recruiting trail this week. But if the coaching staff is recruiting this week, does that mean they are guaranteed to all be retained for next season?

Kelly says the coaching staff will be evaluated after this week. But in reality, he has been evaluating. In fact, Kelly said the evaluations began after the Ole Miss game in which the defense surrendered over 700 total yards and 52 points to Lane Kiffin's Rebels.

"We're here to win championships. The defense did not play to the level that our standard is set at. Nobody is happy, everybody on the defensive side and the head football coach, that we didn't play the kind of defense necessary," Kelly said to the media at his media availability this week. "No one is happy about it. Our fans shouldn't be happy about it."

In fact, fans are not happy about it. Fans are irate about it. So what comes next for defensive coordinator Matt House and the rest of the defensive coaching staff?
