Texas Longhorns Football Team: Texas Football Ranked 5th in PFF Preseason College Football Top 25

No Excuses 23 seems to be the common theme amongst Texas fans as they prepare for what should be an exciting season for the Texas Longhorns Football Team. In year three under Steve Sarkisian, with the amount of talent on the roster many believe this is the year for the Longhorns to get over the hump and compete at the highest level in college football. A lot of the national media have echoed this sentiment, including  @ProFootballFocus  who listed the Texas Longhorns as the 5th best team in the country heading into the 2023 season. The teams ahead of Texas: Georgia, Alabama, Michigan and Ohio State have all played for a national championship, won a national championship or made the college football playoff in the last two seasons. Obviously, Texas hasn't come close to that level of success, but this ranking is a testament to what most people believe is being built on the 40 acres.
