Texas Longhorns Football Team: Defensive Line Depth needed for this Texas Football Team?

You can never have enough depth on a football team, even on a team as talented and loaded as the 2023 Texas Longhorns Football Team. As we saw last year, injuries can have a huge impact on your season, and the depth of your football team will determine if you can meet expectations. Texas didn't deal with a ton of injuries on the defensive line last year, and they seem to have a really good rotation of young, talented defenders currently in that room. It looks like Steve Sarkisian and his staff aren't leaving anything to chance though, as they are bringing in Trill Carter from Minnesota this week for a visit. Carter, who is considering Arkansas, Illinois and Tennessee in addition to Texas, is a big boy up front that has proven to be a plus run defender in his time in college football. We continue to see astronomical levels of attrition in college basketball, as almost 20 percent of college basketball players are in the portal. Two of those players came from Texas. Rowan Brumbaugh is headed to Georgetown and Arterio Morris is in the process of choosing his next destination. Can Texas counter by bringing in some talent out of the portal? Texas Baseball is playing their fifth game in five days but have gone 3-1 thus far. Can they sweep Texas State tonight?
