Kentucky basketball is primed for a solid upcoming season. But what is it going to take for John Calipari and the Wildcats to overachieve?

On today's episode of Locked On Kentucky, Lance Dawe gives three things the Kentucky Wildcats are going to have to overcome in order to overachieve and make a deep NCAA Tournament run this season.

Kentucky is extremely young. Despite their talent, the Wildcats are going to have to overcome their youth, especially with freshmen such as DJ Wagner, Justin Edwards and Aaron Bradshaw being focal points of the squad. UK is also going to have to perform better against good teams. Kentucky was 6-8 against Quad 1 opponents last year... and with such a loaded schedule, they'll have opportunities to bolster their resume and earn a high seed in March Madness.

The Wildcats will also have to overcome their recent history in the postseason. Can UK finally get over the hump and push past the Elite Eight for the first time since 2015?

Kentucky basketball has scheduled a four-year series with the Indiana Hoosiers. The rivalry is back. Dawe provides the details on the games.
