Vanderbilt shot lights out from beyond the arc in the first half and got up by as many as 14 on Kentucky in Nashville. The Cats turned the tables in the second half, brought more energy, and Vandy's shots stopped falling. Tyrese Maxey led the way with 25 points and John Calipari finally had high praise for his freshman after the game. Several other Wildcats had big performances: Asthon Hagans, Immanuel Quickely, Nick Richards and EJ Montgomery.
