Xavier Johnson is set to be out indefinitely for IU basketball after he underwent foot surgery on Wednesday following his injury in the Kansas game. It's a brutal blow for the Hoosiers, who will now need to rely upon Jalen Hood-Schifino, Tamar Bates and Trey Galloway moving forward.

On today's episode of Locked on Hoosiers, Jacob Rude (@JacobRude) reacts to Johnson's injury and breaks down what this means for IU. Hood-Schifino will take over the keys as the point guard now while Johnson will be fighting against the proverbial clock to get back on the court this season.

The women's basketball team finished the non-conference slate of the schedule undefeated with a double-digit win over the Butler Bulldogs. Mackenzie Holmes also may have dropped a hint about a Grace Berger return.

The show wraps by recapping National Signing Day for the Hoosiers, which included the Hoosiers landing transfer Andre Carter from Western Michigan and the top recruit of their class in Te’Darius Collins, a four-star prospect. Tom Allen and IU, though, are still looking for their next QB in the transfer portal.
