While Tayven Jackson was the guy for Tom Allen and the Indiana Hoosiers football program, will he be ready to start for IU this fall? Jackson may have seen limited time for the Tennessee Volunteers this season, but he was positioned to take over the starting QB spot before being recruited over after the commitment from top QB recruit Nico Iamaleava in the 2024 class.

On today's episode of Locked on Hoosiers, Jacob Rude (@JacobRude) talks with John Garcia Jr. (@garciajrpod) to talk about Jackson. After discussing his scouting report and what type of QB Jackson is, Garcia then discusses whether Jackson can start for Allen, offensive coordinator Walt Bell and the Hoosiers this fall for the 2023 season.

The Indiana Hoosiers women's basketball team has a big contest in store for them on Wednesday as they travel to face the Illinois Fighting Illini. After Makira Cook gave the Hoosiers a scare in the matchup in Bloomington earlier this season, IU will be on high alert this time around.

The show wraps by discussing how things could be different in this match-up. While Mackenzie Holmes could likely continue her impressive play this season on Wednesday, having Grace Berger available for this matchup with the Illini is going to be the biggest difference in this contest versus the last.
