What is wrong with the IU football defense?

The Indiana Hoosiers football team has been known for it's defense under head coach Tom Allen. However, despite his return to calling plays on that side of the ball, the Lakers have still struggled on that end of the floor.

On today's episode of Locked on Hoosiers, Jacob Rude (@JacobRude) looks at Allen's comments on Monday about his defense's performance against Western Kentucky. Though the Hoosiers were ultimately victorious, red flags continue to be raised about aspects of their performance.

Despite being 3-0 on the season, those concerns have led to advanced numbers continuing to look not too fondly on IU. Indiana still ranks near the bottom of the Big Ten and in the lower half of the nation.
