Trayce Jackson-Davis continued playing at an elite level on Sunday, leading the Indiana Hoosiers basketball team to a third straight win over the Michigan State Spartans. Jackson-Davis is playing the best basketball of his career, performing not just at an All-American level but at a National Player of the Year level as IU has righted the ship this season with another victory.
On today's episode of Locked on Hoosiers, Jacob Rude (@JacobRude) recaps another win for the Hoosiers behind another super TJD outing. The big man moved into a tie for the program lead all-time in blocked shots as part of his 31-point, 15-rebound showing.
Both Tamar Bates and Trey Galloway had big outings as well on the day, combining for 34 points with eight 3-pointers. The guards showed their progression not just as scorers but as reliable playmakers as they helped close out in the game in the second half.
The show wraps by previewing the women's basketball team as they have yet another ranked road game on Monday against the Michigan Wolverines. The Big Ten Conference is particularly tough this season and the Hoosiers kick off a big week in Ann Arbor looking for back-to-back top-25 wins away from Assembly Hall.
