Jordan Geronimo put an end to the speculation on Sunday by announcing his return to the Indiana Hoosiers basketball team. His return continues to add to the talent for IU for the upcoming season as well as further solidifying the frontcourt and continuing to add to the team's depth.

On today's episode of Locked on Hoosiers, Jacob Rude (@JacobRude) breaks down the ripple effects of Geronimo's decision. Very few players - perhaps only one - finished the season on a bigger high than Geronimo last season with his play in the play-in game and NCAA Tournament. He showed flashes of what he could be and, depending on his development this offseason, he could have a strong case to enter the starting lineup for Indiana University.

One player he could be competing with is Trey Galloway, who is the subject of the latest individual season recap. While his season was interrupted by multiple injuries, he still was able to assert himself as one of the most important Hoosiers this season. His energy level and defense both proved valuable for Mike Woodson's squad.

The show wraps by looking at what he must do during the offseason to improve and perhaps enter the starting lineup next season. Those improvements begin with his 3-point shot and also include a need to bulk up to be able to defend bigger players next season.
