The Indiana Hoosiers basketball team opens the season ranked in the preseason top 25 for the first time since 2016-17 after being slotted No. 13 in the first Associated Press poll of the season on Monday. The Hoosiers are the top Big Ten team in the poll and are featured in the poll for the first time since January of 2019, but is it too much too soon?

Updated women's college basketball recruiting rankings show where future IU women's basketball team members are ranked in the coming years. Teri Moren has landed a pair of top-100 recruits for 2023 and has their eyes set on other top recruits for 2024 and 2025.
