Indiana Hoosiers dealt favorable hand by Big Ten with 2024, 2025 football schedule

The Indiana Hoosiers football team was dealt a very favorable hand by the Big Ten with the release of the football schedules for the 2024 and 2025 seasons. With protected rival Purdue and two-play opponents Michigan State and Maryland, IU has a great chance at a bowl game in 2024.

On today's episode of Locked on Hoosiers, Jacob Rude (@JacobRude) recaps the schedule release for the Big Ten and how things shook out for the Hoosiers. Without Ohio State or Michigan on the schedule in 2024, Indiana has a real chance at a successful season.

While it may be hard to predict a bowl game any year for IU, 2024 is going to be as close as one can come to it. With seven home games and a generous schedule, IU is going to have a make-or-break year with Tom Allen.

The show wraps by looking at the 2025 season and a much tougher schedule. Not only will IU have to play the Buckeyes and Wolverines, they'll also meet USC for the first time as a Big Ten foe as well.
