How big of an impact will Jalen Hood-Schifino and Malik Reneau have at IU?

The Indiana Hoosiers basketball team may have struggled in recent weeks on the recruiting trail, but they still have an incredible Class of 2022 coming in. Led by Jalen Hood-Schifino and Malik Reneau, IU welcomes in a class that could help them contend for a Big Ten title this year.

On today's episode of Locked on Hoosiers, Jacob Rude (@JacobRude) is joined by Jason Jordan (@JasonJordanSI) to discuss each member of the 2022 recruiting class, led by Jalen Hood-Schifino. The highlight of the class, Hood-Schifino will be an impact player from day one as a combo guard that can lead the team and play a number of different roles.

Malik Reneau is the other gem of the class and will serve as the backup big man heading into the season but will still be an impactful player. His energy paired with his ability to be an explosive player will lead to some big moments this season.

Kaleb Banks and CJ Gunn round out the class and provide different skillsets. Banks is an explosive wing player that can help the Hoosiers on the wing while Gunn's shooting ability will almost certainly allow him to get playing time this season.
