With Maryland downing the Minnesota Gophers, the Hoosiers are set for a rematch against the Terrapins in search of avenging one of their defeats earlier this year. IU will look to avoid its Big Ten Tournament woes while Maryland will look to overcome its struggles away from home.
On today's episode of Locked on Hoosiers, Jacob Rude (@JacobRude) previews the quarterfinal matchup between the two sides in the final game of Friday's action of the conference tournament. Through Thursday, the tournament has been defined by its upsets, a trend IU certainly will hope doesn't continue.
Maryland this season has been a team of drastic differences depending if they're playing home or away. At home, they remain a top team that beat the Hoosiers earlier this season. Away from their campus, the Terrapins have struggled mightily this season.
