Finding the positives in IU football's loss to Cincinnati

Despite the frustrating loss by the Indiana Hoosiers football team to the Cincinnati Bearcats on Saturday, Tom Allen's side still came away with some positives to build on moving forward. Chief among them is the fight shown by Connor Bazelak and the IU offense and Tiawan Mullen and the Hoosier defense in the second half to come back.

On today's episode of Locked on Hoosiers, Jacob Rude (@JacobRude) looks at some of the good things to come out of the loss for IU on Saturday. First, though, is a look at the quotes from Allen at his weekly press conference on Monday as he talked about the team's offensive line woes and slow starts.

For all the problems and flaws exposed in Saturday's loss, the Hoosiers' comeback in the second half showcased something the team didn't have last season. As they continue making spirited comebacks this season, it's worth noting how different that mentality is from last year's team.

The show wraps by looking at Peyton Hendershot's performance on Monday Night Football and the controversy it caused. 2024 big man Flory Bidunga is also set to visit IU for Hoosier Hysteria as well, a big get for the Hoosiers.
