The Indiana Hoosiers still remain in the race for 2024 big man Derik Queen as things continue to heat up on the recruiting trail. However, can they win the race against the Maryland Terrapins or will they lose yet another recruit to their conference rivals?

On today's episode of Locked on Hoosiers, Jacob Rude (@JJacobRude) is joined by Jason Jordan (@JasonJordanSI) to discuss the latest in recruiting news for IU. While the Hoosiers remain locked in on Queen, a pair of other Montverde prospects in Asa Newell and Liam McNeeley are on their radar.

Two other prospects will be on campus for Indiana this upcoming weekend in Somto Cyrill and Dylan Harper. The former is a seven-footer who could anchor the paint for IU while the latter is the brother of former Rutgers standout Ron Harper Jr., who tortured the Hoosiers for many years.

The show wraps by recapping the IU women's basketball team picking up a victory over Vermont in their season-opener. A huge performance from freshman Yarden Garzon was the highlight of the win for the Hoosiers.
