The Big Ten announced its landmark media rights deal on Thursday, one worth upwards of $7 billion for the next seven years. The deal with Fox, CBS and NBC has escalators tied to potential expansion within the conference that could see it grow to as much as $11 billion as well.

On today's episode of Locked on Hoosiers, Jacob Rude (@JacobRude) reacts to the conference's huge announcement. The new deal will reshape how the Big Ten football season is presented each and every season.

While football is the main focus of the new deal, the basketball coverage will be getting an upgrade as well. More men's games will be broadcast across CBS, Fox and Peacock while women's basketball games will see a substantial increase, including the Big Ten Tournament final appearing on CBS.

The show wraps by looking at how Indiana University is helping EA Sports with it's production of the new NCAA football game in 2023. The new video game will feature Memorial Stadium and Hep's Rock among other features of the campus because of work the university has put in.
