Mo Williams seems to have figured it out at Jackson State, and Aaron James seems like a Reginald Ruffin hire at Tuskegee. Norfolk State being good at basketball is nothing new.

Mo Williams seems to have figured it out at Jackson State. The Tigers are currently on a 3 game winning streak and undefeated in the SWAC. This streak includes a win over Alcorn State and a “revenge” game against Alabama State.

Aaron James seems like a Reginald Ruffin hire at Tuskegee. Last season, James was Tuskegee’s offensive coordinator under Ruffin, so this is an upgrade. The two also worked together at Miles college prior to last season.

Norfolk State being good at basketball is nothing new. Because it’s so normal, people don’t tend to talk about it. In the first 2 games, they’ve had to go against Maryland Eastern Shore’s strong defense. They were able to open up the offense vs Delaware State the next game.
