Javon Hargrave Enters South Carolina State Hall of Fame, Grambling Fires Chelsey Lucas

Philadelphia Eagles DT, Javon Hargrave will be immortalized in the South Carolina State hall of fame. Former volleyball coach Chelsey Lucas has been fired by Grambling, while Texas Southern has recruited Shawn Jones Jr. from Pearland.

Javon Hargrave will be immortalized in the South Carolina State hall of fame. He was a dominant player and 2 time MEAC defensive player of the year. He’s went on to have a successful career for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Philadelphia Eagles. 

Former volleyball coach Chelsey Lucas has been fired by Grambling. 3 months ago, allegations that she unfairly cut the whole team to bring her own players in gained a lot of traction. In the next 3 months, there has been an independent investigation to get to the bottom of the situation. The result was her release.

Shawn Jones Jr. has committed to Texas Southern. The 6’5 forward from Pearland, Texas was previously committed to Texas State and also holds offers from LSU, Rice, and Houston. His upside offensively could give the Tigers a wing player they could facilitate the offense through for the first time in 5 years.
