RAS scores have made their way around social media. RAS score stands for Relative Athletic Score. Let’s take a look at what that metric means and what you should think about it. After breaking it down, let’s apply it to our HBCU prospects.

Jackson State WBB just capped off an historic season in which they went undefeated, 18-0, for the first time in school and SWAC history. Their season included multiple 20 point victories and dominating SWAC play. They take their season into the SWAC tournament against UAPB. It’s all about Norfolk State and Howard in the Men’s MEAC tournament this year. Norfolk is the top team in the conference.
