HBCU Sports have Come a Long Way and Continue to Grow - Kenn Rashad of HBCUSports.com Joins the Show

Kenn Rashad joins the show to discuss HBCU Sports journalism and how coverage has evolved over time, how the SWAC has become a super conference much like the SEC while the MEAC could soon see the same struggles as the BIG 12.

The jury is still out on North Carolina A&T and Hampton leaping from the MEAC to the Big South. While the intent might have been to impact exposure for the players, A&T and NC Central are still looking to have a long-term rivalry game agreement and Rashad reports that Hampton and Howard could be in search of a similar deal.

Jackson State coach Deion Sanders has brought in quite a lot of attention, but as the fall season rolls around the honeymoon period may be over. Can Sanders and his staff make good on the hype in regards to recruiting and winning games? Alcorn State did not play a spring season, Grambling State had a ton of turnover on the coaching staff, how will those two perform and what to expect from them.
