After his stop at the Raiders and Browns, Grambling is Hue Jackson’s last shot at being a head coach, and there should be no expectations for Damon Wilson at Morgan State this year. Jeremy Moussa looked like a SWAC Player of the Year candidate for FAMU vs North Carolina.

After his stop at the Raiders and Browns, Grambling is Hue Jackson’s last shot at being a head coach. He just has not had success as a head coach in his previous stops. You can argue he wasn’t set up for success, but that will matter less and less if he fails to succeed at Grambling too. The market will dry up for him quickly.

Jeremy Moussa looked like a SWAC Player of the Year candidate for FAMU vs North Carolina. He stood in the pocket and made some really tough throws. His final stat line was 28/38, 279 yards, 2 TDs and 1 INT. This dynamic QB makes FAMU even scarier this year.

There should be no expectations for Damon Wilson at Morgan State this year. He has shown himself to be a very good coach at Bowie State where he built them into a D2 powerhouse. I don’t doubt his coaching acumen or his ability to transition to the FCS level. Wilson was just hired so late in the process that this isn’t his real team. I think the true debut of Wilson’s Bears will be in 2023.
