FAMU has to have an effective running game to win the SWAC. Their 2021 season was much more dominant and they had a really good running game. If they want that type of dominance back and a potential conference title, they’ll need to bring the running game back as well.

The spring session of the transfer portal is the most exciting to me. It’s this session where coaches and players have a more informed view of their team.

Andrew Body and Jada Byers sat out of their spring games and I support the decision. Body is still rehabbing from an injury, so it’s easy to understand why he was held out. Byers was held out simply because of load management. Virginia Union didn’t want their star RB having too many touches after totaling over 300 last year. This will benefit him and them.
