Andrew Body, Jason Dumas, and Esaias Guthrie headline the list of Deacon Jones Award Watchlist snubs and the HBCU-Pro Sports Media Association expects the SWAC to win the Celebration Bowl regardless of who wins the SWAC. The HBCU celebration game between UNC & FAMU celebrates the HBCU roots of Florida & North Carolina.

HBCUsports gives their Deacon Jones award Watchlist snubs. This brings 10 new names that it’s hard to believe didn’t make the original list. The list is headlined by Andrew Body, Jason Dumas, Esaias Guthrie.

The HBCU-Pro Sports Media Association expects the SWAC to win the Celebration Bowl regardless of who wins the SWAC. Out of the 20 voters, 16 picked a SWAC team to win it all. Grambling, Alcorn, FAMU, & Jackson State all got votes to win it all. Past champion SC state only received 2 votes to win it all.

The HBCU celebration game between UNC & FAMU celebrates the HBCU roots of Florida & North Carolina. Former coaches at NC HBCUs and FAMU will be honorary captains. HBCU Heroes will also throw a career fest for the students
