Delaware State HC Rod Milstead was furious about the MEAC preseason poll and North Carolina Central HC Trei Oliver has a huge chip on his shoulder. Commissioner Stills denounced the idea of a HBCU superconference.

Delaware State HC Rod Milstead was furious about the MEAC preseason poll. The Hornets were projected to finish 4th in the conference after finishing 3rd last year. Most of his frustration comes from the amount of returning talent they’ll have from last year’s team.

North Carolina Central HC Trei Oliver has a huge chip on his shoulder. That chip extends to not only his team but also the conference as a whole. Oliver spoke on how much he believes in the commissioner’s plan. If there was one word Oliver would use to describe NCCU, it would be ready.

Commissioner Stills denounced the idea of a HBCU superconference. That was a part of her state of the union addressing her first 7 months being spent dispelling rumors among other things
