Poor puck management dooms VGK in 5-3 loss to the Wild on home ice

The Golden Knights hurt themselves by not protecting the puck in last night's 5-3 loss to the Minnesota Wild. VGK let up two goals in a span of 1:01 to Marco Rossi and Matt Boldy in the third period, which put Minnesota up for good. VGK got out to a quick start when Jonathan Marchessault scored just :22 into the game on a fluky goal. The Golden Knights allowed Minnesota to go ahead in the first period, before Michael Amadio knotted the game at 2-2.
