The Golden Knights hurt themselves by not protecting the puck in last night's 5-3 loss to the Minnesota Wild. VGK let up two goals in a span of 1:01 to Marco Rossi and Matt Boldy in the third period, which put Minnesota up for good. VGK got out to a quick start when Jonathan Marchessault scored just :22 into the game on a fluky goal. The Golden Knights allowed Minnesota to go ahead in the first period, before Michael Amadio knotted the game at 2-2. Adin Hill was not at his best as he allowed four goals and two were not good goals. Alex Pietrangelo played his 1,000th career game. We debate whether he should be in the Hall of Fame. And, we discuss Bruce Cassidy ripping VGK for the poor performance.
