It was a much-needed victory for VGK over the Boston Bruins Thursday night. Alex Pietrangelo scored the game-winner in O.T. on a 2-on-1 break and netted the goal on a Mark Stone assist. It was Pietrangelo's first goal in 27 games. Jack Eichel also scored a goal, his 19th of the season. Logan Thompson gave up just one goal and that was on a deflection. VGK had some roster moves prior to the game: Jiri Patera was sore and not on the VGK roster, Kaeden Korczak and Jonas Rondbjerg were called up. Lukas Cormier and Grigori Denisenko were sent down to Henderson. The Calgary Flames come calling Saturday night. The Flames are 5-2 in their last seven games and just two points out of the 2nd wild card spot in the Western Conference. And we have WTF - What The Friday with fan comments.
