The second thing we learned is that Sammy Long has earned a continued look in the Giants' rotation, which is a great development with Kevin Gausman, Anthony DeSclafani, Alex Wood, Aaron Sanchez, and Johnny Cueto set to reach free agency after the season. The final thing we learned is that John Brebbia joined the Giants' re-made bullpen, which has seen Dominic Leone, Zack Littell, and Jimmie Sherfy added in recent weeks. Quietly, the Giants' bullpen, with Tyler Rogers and Jake McGee still anchoring the back end, has been very effective over the last couple of months.
