On today's Locked On Giants podcast, host Ben Kaspick talks about the latest with the San Francisco Giants. Prior to the game, Brandon Crawford was placed on the 10-day IL with an oblique strain. Thairo Estrada figures to get everyday playing time at shortstop. Buster Posey and Kevin Gausman returned, and Posey made his presence felt right away with a first-inning two-run homer. Gausman was not sharp, lasting only three innings, but the bullpen picked him up with six shutout frames. The Giants' bats broke through in the seventh, and they went on to beat their rivals and increase their lead in the NL West to two games. They have an 11.5-game lead over a playoff spot.
