The New Jersey Devils suffered one of their worst losses of the season to the New York Islanders by a score of 5-1. It was the first time this year that the Devils lost by more than three goals and came off the heels of them clinching a playoff spot in their previous matchup against the Ottawa Senators. Despite what the final score states, the outcome might not be as bad as people are making it out to be. However, they did have a couple of defensive lapses, thanks mostly to Ryan Graves.
