12 Days: Alex Galchenyuk Contract Terminated

Within 12 Days of signing a deal to join the Arizona Coyotes for his third stint with the team, forward Alex Galchenyuk found himself placed on "unconditional waivers for the purpose of a contract terminated." Early Thursday, reports revealed the Coyotes discovered an "off-ice" incident that led to a potential for-cause termination of Galchenyuk's contract. The Athletic's Katie Strang soon after reported City of Scottsdale police had arrested Galchenyuk for various charges.
