The Locked On Cougars Podcast for Monday, January 9, 2022

The BYU Cougars got another transfer portal commitment from Missouri State offensive lineman Ian Fitzgerald and Jake Hatch explains how the build up for the TCU Horned Frogs has laid out a blueprint for the BYU football program to follow as they enter the Big 12 Conference
Jake then took some time to talk about the BYU men's basketball weekend as the Cougars lost in disappointing fashion to Loyola Marymount late Thursday before blowing out San Diego Saturday as Jake says the key for this season for Mark Pope and co. is to work on building the program for the Big 12
Finally, the show wrapped up with a look back at Riley Nelson's first start for BYU in a win over San Jose State in 2011 in the next installment of our recap of all BYU independent football games as well as a recap of how the BYU women's basketball and men's volleyball programs did over the weekend
