Episode 887 - Montreal Canadiens sign two more free agents, what is the plan for Jesse Ylönen, Habs mailbag

The Montreal Canadiens continued their efficient summer signing spree, crossing two more restricted free agents off their to-do list so far. The team announced the return of Nicolas Beaudin and Lucas Condotta on two-way deals for the upcoming season. Interestingly enough, Condotta appears to have done enough to have earned a two-year deal, with Beaudin returns on a one-year contract. Where do both of these players slot in on the Rocket next year, and will either push for serious NHL time as well?

That leaves just Jesse Ylönen as the last unsigned RFA for the Canadiens, and it begs the question, where will the Finnish winger slot in next year? He has a ton of offensive upside, and the smarts to work great in Martin St. Louis' system, but spots are very limited. Could Ylönen become a sweetener in a trade to move a longer term contract off the books, or will Kent Hughes manage to make the space for Ylönen before the regular season begins?
