Inside today's Locked on Canadiens

The Montreal Canadiens played a game in Vancouver that featured a four goal blown lead, a last minute goal against, 13 total goals and one very disappointing loss for the Habs. Scott walks through the good, the bad, and the very ugly of a wild 7-6 overtime loss to the Vancouver Canucks and what went wrong for the Canadiens on Monday night.

On the second half of a back-to-back the Canadiens rolled into Seattle for the first ever Shane Wright vs. Juraj Slafkovsky contest. As everyone expected Wright scored his first NHL goal against the Habs, but the strength of Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield, plus a blinder by Jake Allen allowed Montreal to steal a much-needed win. Scott breaks down the game, and why the hot takes from Slafkovsky vs. Wright are way too premature.

Finally, after the Habs played the Edmonton Oilers in the previous week, the rumours began to fly that the Oilers might be willing to part with a first round pick for Joel Edmundson. With the veteran leader seemingly struggling to lead in his current role, should Kent Hughes consider a deal to send Edmundson to Edmonton? What could the Canadiens even expect to get in return, and is it worthwhile to pull the trigger right now?
