The Ohio State Buckeyes put College Football on Notice

The Ohio State Buckeyes beat the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in South Bend 17-14 Saturday night. Buckeyes running back Chip Trayanum scored the winning touchdown on a one yard plunge with :01 second remaining in the game to stun the home crowd. To make matters worse, Notre Dame only had 10 men on the field for the decisive play. When the game was on the line, Buckeyes quarterback Kyle McCord delivered. Considering Ohio State coach Ryan Day just named him the starter two weeks ago, he was cool under pressure. On the road. While trailing. With no timeouts. Incredible. 

Ryan Day was so fired up he ripped former Notre Dame coach Lou Holtz in his post game interview! 

Meanwhile, the White Out turned out to be a Blow Out at Beaver Stadium as the Penn State Nittany Lions shut out the Iowa Hawkeyes 31-0. Hawkeyes fans will have more reason to yell at Iowa offensive coordinator Brian Ferentz. 

And the biggest surprise of the weekend had to be watching the Minnesota Golden Gophers blowing a 21 point lead to the Northwestern Wildcats. The win might have been good enough to land David Braun the head coaching job.
