It's Game Week! First Look at Nebraska-Northwestern & How Will Playing in Ireland Impact the Game?

The Big Ten football season starts this week, and that means it's time to start previewing the first week's action on Locked On Big 10. Three Big Ten teams start the season in Week 0, with a pair headlining the first week of games in Ireland. The Nebraska Cornhuskers hope to start a season to save Scott Frost's job against the Northwestern Wildcats, and Nate Dickinson breaks down what he'll be looking at Saturday on Locked On Big 10. The Cornhuskers have a chance to become a contender in the Big Ten West if things improve the way they hope, but a loss to Northwestern to start the season would be a huge hit to the confidence starting the season.

Later, Nate looks into how the location could affect the play by checking out the other college football games played in Ireland since the start of the 21st Century. In three games, teams tend to score less in Ireland than the season averages. Nate thinks this means we could see a low-scoring game this Saturday, but the belief goes beyond just the numbers.
