The Big Ten has some of the best football in the country, and by the end of the season at least one team in the conference is always in the national picture. However, the Big Ten has left itself vulnerable to missing the College Football Playoff more than once already by using a division system that doesn't put the two best teams in the Big Ten Championship Game. With the ACC looking at getting rid of divisions in favor of a new scheduling format, could the Big Ten benefit from doing the same thing? Nate Dickinson says the new way could be the best way for the Big Ten to stay competitive while preserving rivalry tradition.

Also, Andy Katz released a list of the best transfer players entering Big Ten basketball this season. Who made the cut, and what does the list say about what the conference has pulled out of the transfer portal to date? Could any of these players be the one that brings a team to the next level, and are those players still out there for the teams that have missed out. Nate goes over it all on Locked On Big 10.
