Schools like the Ohio State Buckeyes, Michigan Wolverines, and Penn State Nittany Lions don't usually rely on freshmen to help them on the football field. But we'd still like to know which Big 10 freshmen are ready to make an impact on their football team? College football fans get excited about new recruits but they often don’t get to see the young players for a year or two or more. And, let's face it, due to the physical nature of college football, freshmen who play usually don't make an immediate impact until they are older and more mature. We highlighted a few freshmen from each Big 10 football team that might be worth watching. We also have fun going back in time by hilighting a few of the best Big 10 freshman seasons all-time. And, finally we have our pigskin picks by predicting (with odds) who will win the Big 10 and get into the college football playoffs.
