Graham Mertz looks really good as the Wisconsin Badgers pummel Illinois State 38-0 in week one. The biggest question mark all season has been Graham Mertz and the passing game, and although he wasn't really needed - he still looked really good with a 14-16 performance with ZERO turnovers. Most importantly Mertz was in control and didn't force anything.

We also talk about the dominating performance on the ground from Braelon Allen and why Badgers fans have been so spoiled over the years with guys like Allen, Taylor, White, Ball, and Gordon.

We talk about the defense and just how good Herbig is - barring injury this is almost certainly his last season in Madison, he's just too good for college football at this point.

From a perspective of things that worry us - the secondary didn't look great. We talk about the absence of Alexander Smith and if his return could make the difference for a secondary that struggled in coverage against Illinois State.
