Wisconsin Badgers football outside linebackers preview, Nick Herbig is a total star and one of the best players in college football. How well will he adjust to more attention this year as opposing offense key in on him more ? We discuss why this is likely his last season in Madison as a future NFL contract looms for him. We discuss his running mate in CJ Goetz and why the solid veteran fills a vital role on the team. We also discuss the high potential of the younger players on the roster with Darryl Peterson, TJ Bollers and Kaden Johnson backing up the OLBs.
Next we move into the ILBs and why this team can't fully replace Leo Chenal and Jack Sanborn. The Badgers have four bodies and plenty of depth, I discuss why I think Jordan Turner and Jake Chaney will likely emerge as two of the most dependable players in that group.
Finally on Locked On Badgers, I talk grades! I think the OLBs are a B+ for this with some minor questions about depth and I have ILBs as a C+ -- I like the upside but there are real questions about the youth at that spot.
