Will Val Nichushkin be Ready to Return Next Season? Malgin Season Grade.

Deputy commissioner of the NHL was asked about the Valeri Nichushkin situation and he responded: “There’s no ongoing investigation into the Nichushkin incident. We know exactly what happened. It was handled appropriately, both at the club level and, I think, at the league level, and he’s eligible to play in the league.”

That will satisfy some, but for others it won't. But should we expect Nuke to be back in full at the start of next season? While we don't have a definite answer to that, by Daly saying there is no ongoing investigation into the matter, we know Val isn't facing any legal involvement, so it will come down to a decision by him and the Colorado Avalanche. We wait and see.
