Not the way they drew it up, the the Colorado Avalanche needed a comeback win against the San Jose Sharks in OT to get the extra point and come within two points of Vegas who lost to the Wild. The Avalanche kept shooting themselves in the foot and San Jose kept taking advantage of bad turnovers. The Avs seemed to be running out of time, but goals by Gab Landeskog and Nazem Kadri got the game tied before winning it in OT less than a minute in to the extra time.
