Should the Colorado Avalanche Exploit the LTIR Loophole with Gabriel Landeskog?

The more we hear about Gabriel Landeskog, the more we think the further and further into the season he will return. Because of that, should the Colorado Avalanche exploit the NHL LTIR loophole where they can leave Landeskog and not have his salary cap number count against their cap number, make some trades to bring in some help, then bring him back for the playoffs (assuming they make the playoffs) where the salary cap goes away?

It might be difficult to answer that now, but if Landeskog is not ready to go by the trade deadline, it could be a very real possibility for Colorado.

We also talk about the under 23 list from Corey Pronman at The Athletic. On Pronman's last list in August of 2022, he included three Avalanche players (Ollausson, Newhook, and Byram). The list looks a little different on the updated version. We discuss.
