No Fuel in the Tank as Avs Drop One Late to the Kings, 4-1. December Schedule Full of Home Games

It was a big ask of the Colorado Avalanche to play an away back to back, have the first of those games be a later start, the second be an earlier start, have the second team you're playing have 4 days rest, and have no Cale Makar.

That might sound like a lot of excuses, but despite all that the Avalanche were hanging in with the Los Angeles Kings until they just ran out of gas in the 3rd period where LA scored 3 goals in the final 6 minutes to run away with two points.

It was a very successful three game trip for the Avalanche. Nabbing on two points out of a possible six. Now the Avs head home for five straight at home, where they will be for the majority of December.
