We did it! Thanks to the Colorado Avalanche fans who stuffed the virtual ballot boxes, Nazem Kadri will be the 3rd Colorado Avalanche in this years All-Star Game, along with head coach Jared Bednar who will be coaching the Central Division. Kadri received more votes than anyone on the ballot across all divisions. For someone who is having a career year, it's no surprise and well deserved.
We also found out that the league will not hand down any discipline for Jordan Greenway after his hit on Avalanche goalie Darcy Kuemper that removed Kuemper from the game and not return. Should the league have sent Greenway at least a fine?
Word is the league will be releasing the schedule for the games that need to be made up, which will happen in February. For the Avalanche, this means seven games, five of which are on the road.
