Lehkonen the Latest Addition to the Injury List as the Avalanche Lose to the Bruins, 5-1

You knew it was going to be an uphill battle when the Colorado Avalanche went into Boston to face the Bruins due to all the injured players the Avalanche are without. Adding defenseman Josh Manson to that list the day before the game didn't help. Adding top line forward Artturi Lehkonen to the list during the 1st intermission just made you feel like this was one big joke being played on the defending champs.

The Avalanche held their own, and when the game could have gotten out of hand in the 2nd, they kept the Bruins at 3 goals, while getting one back. But any attempt to pull any further was gone when Boston found the net twice more in over a couple of minutes, and that was all she wrote.
