There are always people shouting from their keyboards to fire everyone when a team expected to make a deep run at a championship doesn't. Jared Bednar was not immune from that. Most of the time it's white noise and fair-weather fans just yelling to place blame on someone. With Bednar, I never really thought his job was in doubt, and Adrian Dater reported that Bednar's job is in fact safe. I talk about why it will be for the foreseeable future.

Out free agent of the day is Philipp Grubauer, and if one free agent that I fear will be moving on from the Avs, its Grubs. Not because the Avs don't want him back and won't make him a fair offer, but because there is a team out there desperate for a goalie and will throw crazy money at Grubs. It will then be his decision on what to do.
