The Colorado Avalanche seem to be in on several players when they become available, but for several reasons never seem to land them. Jake DeBrusk of the Boston Bruins has requested a trade and Boston made no bones about facilitating a deal to move him. The Avs have had interest in DeBrusk in the past, so it would seem logical for them to be interested in him now. But will all the pieces fit for a move to be made? And do the Avs even want to make a move and potentially upset the success they have had recently?
