Some parts of it were great, other parts of it were frustrating. But it was damn exciting. The Avalanche came into Monday on a four game winning streak and faced off against an Ottawa team who had not played in a week thanks to games getting cancelled due to COVID. You would think this would be all Avs. It wasn't. Ottawa came to play and the Avalanche had to do everything in their power to regain a 3rd period deficit to take two points in a 7-5 win.
Nazem Kadri continued is fantastic play, getting four more points (1g, 3a) while Cale Makar scored two goals for the 2nd consecutive game.
On the other hand, Darcy Kuemper struggled but came up big once the Avs took the lead back in the 3rd.
A lot to talk about.
